Prince Fielder of the Detroit Tigers smashes a total of 28 homers earlier tonight to win this year’s 2012 State Farm Home Run Derby. The 2nd Derby win of Fielder’s career it puts him in rare company with my favorite player of all-time Ken Griffey Jr., who won the Derby three times as the only players to win multiple trophies in the Derby. Fielder is the first player to win the Derby for both the American and National League.
