In what was a very thrilling back and forth Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals of what’s sure to be a really great series between the defending NBA champion Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James led the defending champs to a 103-102 last second overtime victory with his strong driving layup in the final seconds right after the Pacers had appeared to win the game on three straight free throws from Paul George with 2.2 ticks left in overtime. Bron wasn’t having it though as he showed why he’s the best player in the world and recently won his fourth MVP award by just attacking and getting the driving layup at the buzzer with such ease to give the defending champs the victory.

Today the NFL loses one of it’s greatest active players and one of the greatest players at middle linebacker for not only the Chicago Bears, but of all-time in Brian Urlacher with the announcement of his retirement. The veteran linebacker who was the face of the franchise for his 13 years with the team will be a huge lose for not only his great Hall of Fame credentials, but all he did off the field in the community here in Chicago. It’s nice to see someone who represented the team so greatly retire with that same franchise which is a huge rarity in today’s game with free-agency, trades and everything else alike. It will definitely be interesting to see what he does in his career after football and even if you are not a Bears fan you still had to respect his game and know he will sorely be missed by not only the NFL and Bears, but the city of Chicago for all he did.

Daz Dillinger and WC come together for the lead single from their upcoming colloborative album Westcoast Gangsta Sh*t that’s expected to drop this July with the Daz-produced Late Night that timeless old-school Westcoast sounds of a soulfully swingin’ instrumental that finds Daz impressing on the mic with a booming, fusing flow and WC adding a speedier more aggressive flow to the track. While Dubb’s flow isn’t as laid-back as Daz on the track it still fits in just perfectly with Daz’s very West Coast inspired samples of coast legends Eazy on the hook, as well as Pac and Dre. The really solid Director X-directed visuals finds Terius swooping down from a helicopter with one of his angels to join even more of Terius’ Angels where he serenades the beauties at a huge California high school backdrop that’s built like a mansion to his slippery slow, brooding, bedrooom baby-maker. The video like the song itself really gives you that great old school R&B, feel and tone of a lot of now classic 90’s R&B like R. Kelly, Babyface, Boyz II Men and Jodeci. The San Diego Chargers addressed one of their biggest needs for a pass rusher yesterday with the signing of veteran and former Indianapolis Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney to a two-year contract. Freeney is expected to replace the spot voided by pass-rushing second-year linebacker Melvin Ingram, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament this past Tuesday in practice and is expected to miss the whole 2013 season.
